2002 Amplifiers Market Research Report
Abstract
Analog suppliers are benefiting from an increase in demand for portability and connectivity: two trends that are transforming the consumer and commercial electronics industries.

Amplifiers make up 9.5% of the analog market, and nearly 1.6% of the total semiconductor market. This market share has increased over time, and growth should accelerate into the future, driven by digital content creation, and the necessity to connect with it.

Databeans projects an optimistic long-term outlook for the amplifier product category, with a compound annual growth rate of 13.7% for 2001 through 2006. Databeans' forecast calls for a slight increase in amplifier revenue for 2002 over 2001 - with a slight decrease in ASPs.
