| Abstract |
The majority of interface IC revenue
comes from products for the computer market, such as
RS-232, USB, and display standard interfaces, but there
are attractive opportunities in the consumer market,
with so many hot products there, and in other emerging
areas such as medical electronics and in networked data
communications. |
| The current global market for interface
products is valued at an estimated $1.9 billion, and it
has the potential to approach $3 billion by 2011. It is
growing at a compound annual growth rate of 9 percent for
the forecasted period and the major players include Texas
Instruments, National Semiconductor, Maxim Integrated Products,
NXP Semiconductors, and Linear Technology. This study provides
readers with market forecasts for interface products by
bus standard including newer technologies such as PCI Express
and eSATA. |
| Databeans coverage of the interface
market breaks out regional forecasts, consumption by application
market, and product specific markets. Market share is also
included. |
| This study is available through individual
report purchase for $2,995.00 USD or available
at a discounted rate through our 2006 Analog Markets
Worldwide Service or Standard Linear Markets
