| Abstract |
| According to the Telecommunications
Industry Association, communications spending was up 11.2
percent industry-wide for 2006, which represented the fastest
growth rate seen since year 2000. The association has stated
that spending will likely exceed $1 trillion sometime within
the next two to three years. Most of the new growth has
been attributed to increasing wireless demand. Databeans
estimates the market for wireless semiconductors will reach
a new high of $42 billion in 2007 and continue to grow
at an average yearly rate of 14 percent each year. |
| This new study from Databeans provides
readers with semiconductor revenue for wireless applications
including mobile phones, infrastructure, short range, and
other wireless transmission products. Forecasts are provided
for the Americas, Europe, Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore,
Malaysia, Korea, India, and other Asia. Semiconductor product
forecasts include diodes, transistors, power amplifiers,
low noise amplifiers, RF transceivers, standard analog
including power, DSPs, microcontrollers, logic, flash,
and application processors. The study provides supplier
market share for over 95 percent of the measured market. |
| This study is available through individual
