Semiconductors used in the military and aerospace market range from the most advanced FPGAs to commercial off the shelf catalog products used for signal acquisition and conditioning.  Applications range from smart munitions to avionics and satellite communications.  This market is expected to reach $3.1 billion this year, a moderate increase from 2014.  The military market has remained stagnant while avionics has provided growing opportunity as the commercial aircraft manufactures ramp up to meet demand.
