2017 Semiconductors in Military and Aerospace

Abstract
The market for semiconductors in the military and aerospace market is expected to reach $2.9 billion in 2017.  This is an 8 percent increase from 2016 due to better economic conditions in the military segment.  The largest markets for military spending continue to be the United States, Russia, and China.  All three of these markets increased military spending in 2016 by between 4.5 percent and nearly 6 percent.  Long term, this market will continue to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 4 percent over the next five years.
